PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel which prevents occurrence of a malfunction caused by a coating layer, while suppressing increase in manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A touch panel (60A) comprises one transparent substrate (81A). The transparent substrate includes: a main touch sensor region that includes a two-dimentional touch sensor for detecting a two-dimensional touch position, and detects a touched two-dimentional position; and at least one sub touch sensor region that includes a single layer structure touch sensor, and detects whether or not a touch is made. In the two-dimentional touch sensor, a main side insulation layer (84A) is provided between a pre-forming part (83A) and a post-forming part (86A). Thus, when a coating layer (82A) where an icon is drawn is provided in the sub touch sensor region and a sub side insulation layer (84C) is provided between the coating layer and a single layer structure touch sensor (86C), the main side insulation layer and the sub side insulation layer can be formed by the same process, and the post-forming part and the single layer structure touch sensor can be formed by the same process.
