Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor capable of reliably preventing with a simple configuration adhesion of toner to a light-receiving effective portion including an optical effective area where light received by a light-receiving element transmits on a light incident-side surface of a light-receiving cover member, and an image forming apparatus including the optical sensor.SOLUTION: A reflection-type photosensor 70 is provided with a light-transmissive second thin film part 112 having negative charge of the same polarity as that of charge of a toner that forms toner marks 91 and 92 on a surface 29a of a conveyance belt 29, in a second portion 102b including a central portion 102b1 where regular reflection light R received by a photodiode 72 transmits on an outer surface 102 of a cover body part 101.
