PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure reducing valve, which can be installed without clogging a valve mechanism with solid matter such as a snippet or a chip of a seal material formed during, for example, piping work including installation of the pressure reducing valve, or impairing water-tightness of the valve or a pressure adjusting function of the valve.SOLUTION: The pressure reducing valve includes: a valve casing part 20 provided with a cylindrical unit holding part 200 opened to the outside in a boundary between a primary-side passage and a secondary-side passage; a valve mechanism unit controlling a flow rate of a fluid flowing in the valve casing part 20 in response to change in secondary pressure; and a cover part 25 provided with a removal member 262 removing solid matter such as a chip contained in the fluid flowing in the valve casing part 20. One of the valve mechanism unit or the cover part 25 is selected in accordance with a work process, to be inserted into the unit holding part 200.
