CUTTER EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cutter equipment capable of surely detecting low-quality paper (flat sheet) which may be included in a final product.SOLUTION: The cutter equipment includes cutter instruments 2, fiber orientation measuring device 5, an input device 7, a memory device 8 and a fiber orientation examining device 9. The cutter instruments 2 cut paper fed from a material roll 1. The fiber orientation measuring device 5 measures fiber orientation information of the paper from the material roll 1 at a plurality of widthwise positions. The input device 7 specifies a combination of flat sheets. The memory device 8 stores an allowable range of the fiber orientation information of the flat sheet. The fiber orientation examining device 9 specifies a plurality of measurement ranges in a widthwise direction of the paper from the material roll 1 and specifies the allowable range of the fiber orientation information per measurement range. In addition, the fiber orientation examining device 9 determines whether or not the flat sheet cut through the use of the cutter instruments 2 is allowable based on the fiber orientation information measured by the fiber orientation measuring device 5.
