Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a hollow for storing water in the periphery of a planted seedling.SOLUTION: This transplanter includes: a traveling part for traveling a machine body; a planting tool (28) whose downward tip is opened and closed to plant a material to be transplanted; a vertical motion mechanism for moving up and down the planting tool (28); a hollow making unit (110) disposed in front of the planting tool (28); and a hollow making unit vertically moving member for moving up and down the hollow making unit (110), wherein the hollow making unit (110) moves downward and dashes into the soil to make a hollow, and a picking tool (151) for picking the soil is provided in front of the hollow making unit (110).
