Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce ethanol by using an acetic acid-based compound as a raw material with an artificial photosynthesis.SOLUTION: The ethanol is produced from the acetic acid-based compound via aldehyde by donating electrons to a methyl viologen through a chlorin-e6 zinc complex from NADPH with visible light irradiation, and using the methyl viologen holding the electrons as the substrate of aldehyde dehydrogenase and alcohol dehydrogenase.
