Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture for visible light communication capable of stabilizing a power source voltage and reducing a current stress on a light source when a modulating switch element starts an ON-operation.SOLUTION: A lighting fixture for visible light communication 10 includes: a light source 11; a power supply circuit 3 that modulates light from the light source 11; a modulating switch element Q1 that modulates an output current supplied to the light source 11; a modulating resistor Rx connected to the modulating switch element Q1 in parallel; a visible light communication signal circuit 4 that controls the modulating switch element Q1 to be turned on and off; and a forcibly-turning ON circuit 6 that turns ON the modulating switch element Q1 when the visible light communication signal circuit 4 is not driven. In this configuration, since the light source 11 is prevented from getting into a no-load state by the modulating resistor Rx, the power source voltage is stabilized. Also, since the an ON-signal continuously flows to the modulating switch element Q1 when the visible light communication signal circuit 4 starts the operation, generation of a surge current is prevented; and thus, the current stress on the light source 11 is reduced.
