SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING GAS LEAKAGE DETECTION AND GAS SUPPLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for controlling gas leakage detection and gas supply, which can accurately determine existence of gas leakage while achieving quick correspondence to emergency contact in occurrence of an earthquake.SOLUTION: A microcomputer meter 30 includes: seismoscopic means 32, 33 for detecting a magnitude of an earthquake; cutoff control means 34 which when an earthquake of a first threshold or more is detected by the seismoscopic means, closes a user side cutoff valve 31; and automatic restoration means 35 which when the cutoff valve is closed by the cutoff control means, opens the cutoff valve after resolution of the earthquake if the earthquake magnitude detected by the seismoscopic means is the first threshold and more and less than a second threshold larger than the first threshold, and opens the cutoff valve after lapse of a delay period if the earthquake magnitude detected by the seismoscopic means is the second threshold and more. During the delay period, a governor arranged on the upstream side of the microcomputer meter 30 is maintained at a closed state to perform gas leakage inspection.
