HEDDLE FRAME HEIGHT CONTROLLING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heddle frame height controlling apparatus facilitating a height control operation of a heddle frame, suppressing a manufacturing cost of a shedding device, hardly causing failure of the shedding device, and suitable for acceleration of vertical movement of the heddle frame.SOLUTION: A heddle frame height controlling apparatus used in a shedding device including a drive transmission mechanism provided for each heddle frame, for connecting a reciprocating driving device with the heddle frame, and capable of changing a support height of the corresponding heddle frame, comprises: engaging means which can be engaged and released with and from the heddle frame, and is arranged on a side of the heddle frame and engaged with a side stay of the heddle frame in a height control operation of the heddle frame performed before operation start of a loom; and lifting/lowering means placed in a fixed part of the loom on a side of the heddle frame to be controlled in height, for vertically moving the engaging means with respect to the fixed part.
