Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device with superior properties in which a biasing structure to a neutral position is simple, and superior operating feeling is achieved.SOLUTION: In the shift lever device 1 including a torsion spring 4 outwardly fitted and arranged to a select shaft 30, a pair of torsion bars 41 hold the locking part 315 when the shift lever is in the neutral position, thereby a reaction force in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the select shaft 30 is generated in the torsion spring 4, and an abutting load derived from the reaction force acts on a housing structure of a protrusion 310 and a recess 300 arranged between the select shaft 30 and a support part 311.
