Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior coating for articles, in which the exterior coating is hardly exfoliated in even projection shape parts such as the ridge line or corner part of a housing.SOLUTION: The exterior coating is obtained by forming: an undercoat layer 11 and a middle coat layer 12 as an underlying layer in this order on the surface of a base material portion 10 of the exterior of the article; a first ultraviolet-curable hard coat layer 21 on the surface of the middle coat layer 12; and a second ultraviolet-curable hard coat layer 22 on the surface of the first ultraviolet-curable hard coat layer 21. In this case, the hardness of the first ultraviolet-curable hard coat layer 21 is made lower than that of the second ultraviolet-curable hard coat layer 22 to improve the abrasion resistance. The film thickness of the first ultraviolet-curable hard coat layer 21 is made the same as that of the second ultraviolet-curable hard coat layer 22.
