Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new monitoring method of plasma arc welding and a plasma arc welding device, capable of precisely determining soundness in keyhole welding.SOLUTION: This method for monitoring keyhole welding by plasma arc includes the steps of: measuring output voltage when welding using a constant current; finding a peak frequency and distribution of the same by frequency analysis of a welding voltage correlating with weld pool P vibration among the output voltages measured; specifying the peak frequency that correlates with the weld pool P vibration; and comparing the specified peak frequency with a frequency range and determining whether the weld is good or bad. Thus, whether or not excellent keyhole welding is carried out can be determined with excellent precision just by comparing the peak frequency that correlates with the weld pool P vibration and a frequency range.
