Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation state detector having high detection accuracy of an oxidation state of iron.SOLUTION: An oxidation state detector which detects an oxidation state of iron comprises: a measuring part measuring magnetic permeability of a measuring object containing the iron; and an oxidation state identifying part identifying the oxidation state of the iron from a measurement result obtained by the measuring part. The measuring part and the oxidation state identifying part, for example, can be achieved with a microcomputer 7. The measuring part, for example, indirectly measures the magnetic permeability of the measuring object containing the iron by using a current value of a first coil 3 and a voltage value of a second coil 4.
