Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner adapted to various models having a different number of blower fans, while reducing noise.SOLUTION: The indoor unit for an air conditioner includes a housing 12, a blower chamber 1 provided on a suction side in the housing and provided with a blower fan 30, a heat exchanger chamber 60 provided on a blow-off side of the housing and provided with a heat exchanger 33, and a partition plate 10 between a blower chamber and a heat exchanger chamber. In addition, a frame 50 is provided between the partition plate 10 and the blower fan 30, and both ends thereof are fixed to a side plate 8 of the housing. On the frame, the blower fan, a fan motor 34 for driving the blower fan, and a bearing 35 for supporting a shaft 38 of the blower fan are mounted.
