Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress "squeaking" of a multilayer ceramic capacitor when an electric field is applied in a state that the multilayer ceramic capacitor is mounted on a board.SOLUTION: An active region 37 which contributes to formation of static capacity caused by mutually facing inner electrodes 27 and 28 in a capacitor body 29 is divided into a first region 40 which is distributed along the lamination direction and a second region 41 at the board 22 side. A dielectric constant of a dielectric ceramic layer 25 in the second region 41 is lower than a dielectric constant of a dielectric ceramic layer 24 in the first region 40. A ratio of a volume of inner electrodes 27 and 28 to a volume of the dielectric ceramic layer 25 in the second region 41 is higher than a ratio of the volume of inner electrodes 27 and 28 to a volume of the dielectric ceramic layer 24 in the first region 40.
