Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film capable of suppressing fluctuations in optical characteristics such as retardation by suppressing moisture absorptivity even in a high humidity environment.SOLUTION: The optical film comprises a cellulose derivative and at least one sugar ester selected from a glucose benzoic acid ester and a glucose toluic acid ester having an ester substitution degree of 2.0 to 4.8, a galactose benzoic acid ester and a galactose toluic acid ester having an ester substitution degree of 2.0 to 4.5, a sucrose toluic acid ester having an ester substitution degree of 4.0 to 7.8, a lactose benzoic acid ester and a lactose toluic acid ester having an ester substitution degree of 4.0 to 7.8, and a maltitol benzoic acid ester and a maltitol toluic acid ester having an ester substitution degree of 3.2 to 7.6.
