BUTTERFLY VALVE WITH LEVER HANDLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a butterfly valve with a lever handle, in which a groove for locking an opening is located at an easily viewable position, facilitating confirmation of the opening.SOLUTION: An opening instruction plate 1 is held at a position above the lever handle 3 by a base plate 10 and a support rod 11. If a grip spring 7 is compressed with the lever handle 3 and a lock lever 5 together to slightly turn the lock lever 5 counterclockwise, a front end 8 rotates counterclockwise to move downward, and is removed from a groove. Then, if the lever handle 3 is turned while being gripped to move to a desired opening, matching the front end 8 to a groove for a desired opening, and the hand is released from the lever handle 3, the lock lever 5 is turned clockwise by the force of the spring 7, causing the front end 8 to fit in the groove in a lock state. The opening instruction plate 1 having the grooves to lock the openings is positioned above the lever handle 3 so that a locking groove is always viewable.
