Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin modifier that is excellent in phase solubility to an amorphous resin and crystalline resin, and improves their molding processability, physical properties, flexibility, and impact resistance, wherein the resin modifier is excellent in heat stability so that the coloring due to heating can be prevented.SOLUTION: A resin modifier is formed by containing an ester of a disaccharide with an aromatic monocarbonic acid expressed by general formula (I) (wherein R1 to R5 is independently a hydrogen atom and a group selected from an alkyl group and alkoxy group, provided that at least one of R1 to R5 is the alkyl group or the alkoxy group when sucrose is used as the disaccharide).
