Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging method by hot forging which has a higher degree of freedom in profile design than ever and enables manufacture of a forged product less susceptible to such problems as mechanical strength degradation and stress corrosion cracking at a low cost.SOLUTION: Forging by hot forging is performed by hot forging equipment 11 comprising: a forging machine detachably provided with two or more process units 13 in the same, a plurality of heaters to heat metal dies of each process unit 13, a plurality of thermocouples to detect the temperature of metal dies of each process unit 13, a non-contact type thermometer to detect the temperature of the forged product, and a die temperature control device to control the plurality of the heaters based on output of the non-contact type thermometer and the plurality of the thermocouples.
