PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal oscillator ensuring excellent vibration characteristics, reliable support of a crystal blank regardless of the thickness of the crystal blank, and further cost reduction.SOLUTION: In the crystal oscillator having a round crystal blank 1 supported vertically on a base 5 by means of a supporter 30 and bonded thereto, two supporters 30 are arranged at an interval narrower than the diameter of the crystal blank 1. At a part overlapping the crystal blank 1, each supporter 30 is provided with a protrusion 32 protruding outward toward the outer periphery of the crystal blank 1 and having an L-shaped tip. The vicinity of the outer periphery of the crystal blank 1 and the protrusion 32 are bonded with a conductive adhesive.
