PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver and an electronic device for easily suppressing an involuntary slide of a movable part as one example.SOLUTION: In the television receiver according to an embodiment, a display device is provided with a display screen. An electronic component is electrically connected with the display device. The display device and the electronic component are housed in a housing, and an opened opening is provided on an outer surface. Functional components are at least partially housed inside the housing. The movable part is exposed so as to be operated from the outside through the opening, and is slidable along the opening between a first position at which at least some functions in the functional components are limited and a second position at which limitation of the functions at the first position is canceled. A recessed part or a projection part is provided on at least one of a position away from the first position in a direction along the opening from the second position and a position away from the second position in the direction along the opening from the first position, and also provided in a peripheral edge area of the opening.
