PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical device and an analytical method for performing pretreatment of samples containing medicines of various sorts and various treatment regions under optimum conditions for the individual samples when measuring a medicine in each sample.SOLUTION: An analytical device 100 for measuring a medicine contained in a target sample includes: an extraction material liquid dispensation mechanism 106 for injecting a solid-phase extraction material into a solid-phase extraction cartridge 104; pretreatment means for injecting the target sample into the solid-phase extraction cartridge 104 into which the solid-phase extraction material is injected and generating an extracted sample liquid by solid extraction; and measurement means for measuring the medicine in the extracted sample liquid.
