SPEED DETECTION DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed detection device for elevator that can detects the speed of a car with high precision by stabilizing pressing force of a roller to a guide rail in any use state, and improves durability while wear of the roller is small.SOLUTION: In the speed detection device for elevator, a shaft provided to an upper-end side of a first rocking arm 14 and journaling a movable base 25a and a rotary shaft 26 provided to the base 25a and journaling a first roller 6 are arranged at positions where they overlap in one, the shaft arranged on the upper-end side of the rocking arm 14 serves as a common shaft to be the rotary shaft 26 to journal the base 25a and roller 6, and a lower-end side of a third rocking arm 23 being a rotation preventive member journaled by the base 25a is journaled by a car parallel to the rocking arm 14. Consequently, the base 25a journaled at two points of the rotary shaft 26 on the upper-end side of the rocking arm 14 and the shaft 24 on the upper-end side of the rocking arm 23 always remains parallel to the car as the rocking arm 23 rotates at the same angle when the rocking arm 14 rotates.
