Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pasting device and method capable of preventing a pasting member from being scratched and preventing production of bubbles between a member to be pasted and the pasting member.SOLUTION: The pasting device includes: a work stage 2 on which the member 20 to be pasted is placed; a holding sheet 4 by which the pasting member 21 is held; a pressing mechanism 7 moving between one end and the other end of the holding sheet 4 while pressing the holding sheet 4; and a peeling mechanism 8 for facilitating the peeling of the pasting member 21 from the holding sheet 4 by moving with the pressing mechanism 7 and bending the holding sheet 4 upward along the pressing mechanism 7. The pasting member 21 is pasted to the member 20 to be pasted by moving the pressing mechanism 7 and the peeling mechanism 8 from the one end of the holding sheet 4 to the other end in a condition that the pasting start edge of the pasting member 21 is pressed to the member 20 to be pasted by the pressing mechanism 7 and the pasting end of the pasting member 21 is positioned at an upper part than the pasting start edge.
