DIE HOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die holder in which a die can be smoothly detached by a simple operation without using tools when replacing the die and moreover the die is rigidly fixed.SOLUTION: The die holder 1 includes: a die holder body 2 having a die holding recess 4 on the top; a cover body 15 which is movable forward and backward between approach position P1 which is close to a die 70 which is fit to the die holding recess 4 above the stepped part 8 of the die holder body 2 and a separated position P2 which is separated, and can be elevated and lowered between the separated position P2 and a lowered position P3; a restricting mechanism 30 for restricting the movement of the cover body 15 which is in the approach position P1 to the side of the separated position P2; a clamper 16 which is installed movably forward and backward in the directions of approaching and away from the die 70 with respect to the cover body 15 on the under side of the cover body 15 and, by coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the die 70 and pressing the die against the inner wall surface 7a on the opposite side of the stepped part 8 of the die holding recess 4; and a spring member 18 for energizing the clamper 16 to the side of the die 70.
