METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING METAL THIN PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a metal thin plate, capable of molding a projection capable of preventing deterioration of the positioning performance to a metal thin plate.SOLUTION: The method includes: pressing a workpiece W by a die 10 and a punch 20 to thereby cause the workpiece W to mateiral-flow; molding a projection 31 linearly projecting from one side surface W1 of the workpiece W on the one side surface W1 of the workpiece W; molding a first recess 32 dented along the shape of the projection 31 from the other side surface W2 of the workpiece W at a part corresponding to the forming part of the projection 31 on the other side surface W2 of the workpiece and a second dent 33 dented from the other side surface W2 of the workpiece W around the first dent 32; and causing the material around the first recess 32 in the workpiece W to flow toward a base end 31c of the projection 31 by the molding of the second recess 33.
