OPTICAL RECORDING/REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording/reproducing device capable of stabilizing a DRAW technique to reproduce while recording a piece of information on an optical recording medium.SOLUTION: The optical recording/reproducing device comprises: plural light sources including a first light source and a second light source; and a controller that controls the output of light from the light sources. The controller controls the output of light from the light sources so as, in a light output control period Tc in which the recording a piece of user data on an optical recording medium is suspended, to record a piece of non-user data on the optical recording medium, to stop the light output from the second light source while recording the non-user data, and to obtain a piece of light output information of the first light source while stopping light emission from the second light source.
