Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle drive motor with a simple configuration capable of securing a predetermined torque in a low-speed rotation region and reducing generation of a counter-electromotive force in a high-speed rotation region, and of properly setting current flowing timings in the low-speed and high-speed rotation regions.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle drive motor includes a rotor having a magnet with 2n magnetic poles, a stator core 24 opposed to respective magnetic poles of the rotor and having 6m projection parts on a peripheral surface, a rotation detector, a current controller, and a drive circuit. The stator core 24 includes 3m first projection part groups and 3m second projection part groups formed at regular intervals in a circumferential direction. First projection parts 36 constituting the first projection part groups and second projection parts 38 constituting the second projection part groups are alternately arranged. First coils are wound around the first projection parts 36, and second coils are wound around the second projection parts 38. The second projection part groups and the first projection part groups are arranged so that the second projection parts 38 are arranged closer to one of the two first projection parts 36 sandwiching the second projection parts 38. |
