Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, in conventional correction processing of vertical stripe-like unevenness, random noise is added to an image signal simultaneously with the correction, thereby causing an adverse effect of an increase in random noise.SOLUTION: An imaging device, in an operation to read a signal generated in a photoelectric conversion operation in a light-shielded state to be used for correction processing of vertical stripe-like unevenness, changes at least a signal transfer rate of transfer means of a pixel signal of an image sensor and signal processing gain of pixel signal processing so that random noise is reduced.
