Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerating tube for an electromagnetic accelerator which can be easily assembled and disassembled and allows the size of armature passing space to be defined accurately.SOLUTION: When closely brought into contact with each other, a pair of rails (1T and 1B) and insulators (2L and 2R) are configured in such a form that they can be combined to form a space with a predetermined size through which an armature can pass. When a hydraulic cylinder (5T) is extended, a frame body (4) deforms elastically so as to extend in a vertical direction, so that the frame body (4) deforms elastically so as to contract in a horizontal direction, a spacer for left insulator (3L) pushes the left insulator (2L), a spacer for right insulator (3R) pushes the right insulator (2R), and the rails (1T and 1B), the insulators (2L and 2R), the frame body (4), the spacer for the insulators (3L and 3R), the hydraulic cylinder (5T), the spacer for the upper rail (7T), and the spacer for the lower rail (7B) are unified. Thus, when the rails and insulators are closely brought into contact with each other, the armature passing space is formed in accurate size. When the hydraulic cylinder is shortened, a gap is opened, thereby facilitating assembly and disassembly. |
