Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology to improve adjustability of a braking force in a vehicle brake.SOLUTION: The braking force adjusting device 100 includes a first output unit 120 that is displaced according to brake operation and outputs a first force F1 by the displacement, and a second output unit 140 that is disposed between a friction member energized by a disk rotor 12 and the first output unit 120, being displaced by the first force F1 input from the first output unit 120, and thus converts the first force F1 to the second force F2 which displaces the friction member toward the disk rotor 12 and output the second force F2. The second output unit 140 has nonlinear characteristics with respect to the output according to its displacement, whereas the first output unit 120 has nonlinear characteristics with respect to the output according to its displacement, the nonlinear characteristics tending to bring the nonlinear characteristics of the second output unit 140 close to linear characteristics.
