Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine which can suppress deterioration in fuel economy of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 26 includes: DPF 19A, 19B which collect and remove PM contained in exhaust gas passing through exhaust passages 11A, 11B; fuel addition valves 20A, 20B which add fuels into the exhaust passages 11A, 11B; and an ECU 25. The ECU 25 controls the fuel addition valves 20A, 20B so as to add fuels corresponding to a target regeneration temperature correction coefficient and thereafter, when PM accumulation amounts in both the DPF 19A and 19B become smaller than a regeneration end threshold, controls the fuel addition valves 20A, 20B so as to end the addition of fuel thereafter. Furthermore, when the PM accumulation amount in the DPF 19A, 19B becomes smaller than the regeneration end threshold, the ECU 25 sets the target regeneration temperature correction coefficient to 1 and, when the PM accumulation amount in the DPF 19A, 19B is not smaller than the regeneration end threshold, the ECU 25 calculates a target regeneration temperature correction coefficient corresponding to the PM accumulation amount in the DPF 19A, 19B.
