DOUBLE BRIM CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid glare by blocking not only direct sunlight from the sun situated above but also reflected sunlight from below which is reflected on a sea level and ground without blocking a front visual field.SOLUTION: A double brim cap 10 includes a fitting portion 12 mounted to a head part, an upper side brim 21 provided at least in front of the fitting portion 12, and a lower side brim 23 situated under the upper side brim 21 and sandwiching a visual field of a wearer from the upper and lower sides together with the upper side brim 21 with a predetermined interval from the upper side brim 21. It is preferable that the lower side brim 23 is provided at the fitting portion 12 through an elastic body 26. The lower side brim 23 is formed so as to be superposed on the upper side brim 21. Preferably, locking means 22 and 25 for locking the lower side brim 23 superposed on the upper side brim 21 taken as the upper side brim 21 are further included. The lower side brim can be also formed in a chevron shape in which the center in a width direction is raised upward.
