Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrided component capable of being improved in fatigue characteristics without applying an expensive shot peening, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The nitrided component includes a surface hardened layer including a decarburized layer and a nitrided layer. Chemical composition inside the nitrided component includes, by mass%, C: 0.15% or more and less than 0.5%; one or more elements selected from a group of Cr: 6.0% or less, V: 2.5% or less, Mo: 3.0% or less, and Al: 1.5% or less; N: 0.03% or less. A nitriding factor N1 expressed by (0.08×[%Cr]+0.29×[%V]+0.15×[%Mo]+0.65×[%Al])/[%C] is 1.0 or more. At the surface hardened layer, a decarburization rate expressed by (C-C)/C is 0.30 or more, wherein Cdenotes carbon concentration of the surface, and a surface nitrogen concentration factor Ns expressed by N2/(C-C+0.2) is 1.0 or more, wherein N2 denotes nitrogen concentration of the surface. |
