Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide (1) a binder optimum for an orally disintegrating tablet (OD tablet) (tablet showing disintegration for ≤30 s without water), and (2) a binder optimum for direct compressing, in binders used for tablets.SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical binder is composed of a polyvinyl alcohol (co)polymer. Further, the average particle diameter of the polyvinyl alcohol (co)polymer is ≤130 μm.
