APPARATUS FOR PEELING OFF FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for peeling off a film, capable of suitably peeling off a protective film adhering onto one or either face of a thin board without deforming the same.SOLUTION: This peeling mechanism 4 includes a board transfer means 40 that transfers a board, a peeling means 41 comprising a gas injection unit 46, and film removing means 42, 43 that transfer a protective film B. By injecting a gas from the gas injection unit 46 into a gap between the board A and the protective film B having been peeled off while moving the board A by the board transfer means 40, the whole of the protective film B is gradually peeled off. In the peeling means 41, there disposed are gas injection units 46, 70 each on the upper face and/or the lower face of the board A respectively, and board supporting members 47, 71 each on the opposite face of the board A relative to the gas injection units 46, 70 to allow the board supporting members 47, 71 to counteract the pressure of the injected gas by a reaction force.
