PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle steering device configured to selectively connect a singe electric motor to a telescopic mechanism or a tilt mechanism, while allowing easy and reliably switching, with an inexpensive and simple configuration.SOLUTION: A vehicle steering device includes a drive mechanism 5 which adjusts output torque of an electric motor M and transmits the adjusted output torque to a telescopic screw shaft 33 and a tilt screw shaft 43 adjacent thereto, and a switching mechanism 6 having a first clutch mechanism for connecting/disconnecting the drive mechanism and the tilt screw shaft and a second clutch mechanism for connecting/disconnecting the drive mechanism and the telescopic screw shaft, to engage one of the first and second clutch mechanisms, and to disengage the other. The switching mechanism and the drive mechanism are constituted of a single drive changing unit D.
