STOP POSITION AUTOMATIC CONTROLLER OF MONORAIL CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a monorail carrier for non-passenger purpose to safely stop a machine body at an arbitrary position in the middle of the rail.SOLUTION: A stop position automatic controller, installed on a monorail carrier 1 including a traveling machine body 10 that travels on a rail 30 and a baggage wagon 20 that moves on the rail while being interconnected to the traveling machine body 10, includes a stop position indicating plate 40 arranged at any given stop position in the side of the rail 30, a stop position detecting sensor 41 that detects the stop position indicating plate 40 provided on the traveling machine body 10 or the baggage wagon 20 and outputs a detection signal, a control unit 42 that is provided on the traveling machine body 10 or the baggage wagon 20 and outputs a stop operation signal on the basis of the detection signal, and a lever operation unit 43 that operates a travel stop lever 14 of the traveling machine body 10 to the stop position on the basis of the stop operation signal.
