PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow accessories for operating a seat position to be installed at an easy-to-operate position without reducing safety and productivity of a vehicle seat.SOLUTION: In a seat frame 14 of a seat back 13 of a passenger seat, the accessories 18 (a switch box 19, a mounting tool 20, etc.) are provided for operating a longitudinal slide position of the passenger seat. On the reverse side of a pad 22, a recess 24 is formed for housing the accessories. For covering at least a portion (a portion corresponding to the mounting tool 20, e.g.) of the recess 24, a cover member 25 is integrally provided. The cover member 25 has a JISK 7215 durometer hardness of HDA 50 or higher and HDD 100 or lower. When the body of a seated person collides with a hard portion (the mounting tool 20, e.g.) of the accessories 18 via the pad 22 and the cover member 25 at the time of a collision of the vehicle, the impact is properly moderated by the cover member 25 to prevent damage to the seated person.
