Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join edge parts of a sheet member accurately with each other corresponding to inclination of the sheet member.SOLUTION: A joining device 1 joins edge parts of a sheet member S with each other. A moving device 3 moves a pair of joining members 10 along the edge parts of the sheet member S. The pair of joining members 10 rolls and moves on the edge parts of the sheet member S. The pair of joining members 10 bites the edge parts of the sheet member S between the teeth which bite with each other at a predetermined biting position 15. The edge parts of the sheet member S are bitten between the teeth and joined. A change device 20 changes a biting position 15 of the pair of the joining members 10. A position adjusting unit 40 adjusts the biting position 15 of the pair of joining member 10 onto the edge parts of the sheet member S by the change device 20 corresponding to the inclination of the sheet member S.
