Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of times of the activation of a compressor and accurately control its internal temperature.SOLUTION: A refrigerating machine has a first refrigerant circuit where a first compressor, a first condenser, a first pressure reducer, and a first evaporator are annularly connected through first refrigerant piping, a second refrigerant circuit where a second compressor, a second condenser, a second pressure reducer, and a second evaporator are annularly connected through second refrigerant piping, a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the inside of a low temperature storage space in which the first and second evaporators are arranged so as to cool the inside at the same time, a first controller which controls the first and second compressors so that they operate whenever the detected temperature reaches a first temperature and so that they operate alternately whenever it reaches a second temperature lower than the first temperature, a second controller which controls the first and second compressors so that they operate alternately whenever the temperature reaches the first temperature and their operations continue until it reaches the second temperature, and a first switching device for exerting control switching between the first and second controllers according to the detected temperature.
