Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel braking and driving apparatus in which the number of parts is reduced to improve assembling efficiency and space efficiency in a wheel.SOLUTION: The wheel braking and driving apparatus 10 includes an in-wheel motor 13 and a planetary gear reducer 20, and further includes a disc brake mechanism 40. The brake mechanism 40 includes: a disc brake rotor 41 integrally formed with an outer ring side member of an axle bearing 30 that accommodates the reducer 20; and a brake caliper 42 for pressing a brake pad against the rotor 41. Thus, there is no need to additionally assemble a brake disc rotor, accordingly the number of parts is reduced to improve assembling efficiency and space efficiency in the wheel 12.
