LINEAR ACTUATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator which improves the strength of a stator having a coil while achieving the downsizing.SOLUTION: A linear actuator includes: a case 2 having a cylinder part 3 and a hood 4 and a bottom cover 5 which close both axial end parts of the cylinder part 3; a movable element 30 which is provided so as to reciprocate along the axial direction and is formed by sandwiching a permanent magnet 33 with a pair of yokes 31, 32 in the axial direction; coils 11, 12 provided at the radial inner side of the cylinder part 3 along the axial direction; a stator 10 having iron pieces 13 to 16 where inner piece parts 13a to 16a covering the radial inner side of the coils 11, 12, and upper piece parts 13b, 15b and lower piece parts 14b, 16b which cover both axial sides of the coils 11, 12 are formed; and non magnetic metal members 20, 21 inserted into the inner piece parts 13a to 16a of the iron pieces 13 to 16 to be arranged therein.
