Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion testing machine which is capable of implementing a corrosion test while controlling a wet state of the sample surface by accurately grasping the wet state of the sample surface which means whether the sample surface is wet or dry, and in which reproducibility of test is improved.SOLUTION: A sample surface monitoring method uses the corrosion testing machine comprising: test tank internal temperature sensors 23 and 24 for measuring a temperature in a test tank 6; and a salt adhered surface temperature sensor for measuring a surface temperature of a metal dish 2 on which salt is put and a sensor body is attached, and determines the wet state of the salt on the sample surface from a temperature difference between measurement values of the test tank 6 internal temperature sensors 23 and 24 and the salt adhered surface temperature sensor. A corrosion testing machine 5 grasps the wet state of the salt on the sample surface by using the sample surface monitoring method, and controls the wet state of the sample surface to implement a corrosion test.
