PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supporting an air seal pipe for continuous casting, which can measure a pressing force of the air seal pipe against a collector nozzle accurately online; and to provide the air seal pipe.SOLUTION: A device for supporting an air seal pipe for continuous casting supports the air seal pipe 5 in a tip portion of a support arm 11A and then presses the air seal pipe against a collector nozzle 4 attached to a bottom of a molten metal vessel 1. In the device, a load cell 20 is mounted in the tip portion of the support arm 11A, along with a load cell mounted in a root portion of the device, wherein both load cells are used for measuring the pressing force of the air seal pipe 5.
