PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll mill capable of improving a return degree when a roll returns to the inside of a base when a load on the roll during milling becomes large.SOLUTION: A roll mill 1 includes a casing 20, rotatable bases 50, 52, and a roll 60 movably and axially supported between the center side and the outer side of the bases, relative to the bases 50, 52. The roll mill 1 can mill a solid material in a gap between an outer circumferential surface of the roll 60 moved to the outer side and an inner surface of the casing 20 by moving the roll 60 to the outer side relative to the bases 50, 52 by centrifugal force with the rotation of the bases 50, 52. The bases 50, 52 comprise two panel members disposed opposite each other. One end of a support shaft 62 of the roll 60 is assembled to the panel member 50 via a spherical bearing 50a, and the other end of the support shaft 62 is assembled so as to be slidable in substantially the radial direction of the panel member 52.
