NON-RECIPROCAL CIRCUIT ELEMENT AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin non-reciprocal circuit element with minimized electromagnetic wave leakage and easy assembly, and to provide a communication apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: A non-reciprocal circuit element comprises: a first metallic member 1; and a second metallic member 7. The first metallic member 1 is composed of a continuous metallic body and includes a first waveguide 11, a second waveguide 13, and a member insertion hole 16. The first waveguide 11 and the second waveguide 13 are input/output waveguides. The member insertion hole 16 intersects with the first waveguide 11 and the second wave guide 13 in the first metallic member. The second metallic member 7 is inserted into the member insertion hole 16 and constitutes a third waveguide 15 intersecting with the first waveguide 11 and the second waveguide 13.
