Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal image storage device not using any mechanical limit switch for detecting setting of a high-temperature object which is a monitoring target at a predetermined imaging position and capable of eliminating the necessity of a space for installing the mechanical limit switch and working costs.SOLUTION: Thermal image processing means 3 for processing a thermal image 2a is connected to thermal image generation means 2 for generating the thermal image 2a. The thermal image processing means 3 includes a position detection unit 30 for detecting, when a temperature in an area occupied by a ladle 4 in the thermal image 2a when the ladle 4 is set at a predetermined imaging position is monitored and the temperature in the area is equal to or more than a predetermined detection threshold value, the setting of the ladle 4 at the imaging position.
