METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLUORINE-CONTAINING COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for producing a fluorine-containing compound having a fluorine-containing alicyclic structure and a fluorosulfonyl group, and also having polymerization reactivity, capable of obtaining a compound having a carbonyl group in a high yield, and thereby improving the yield of a process of obtaining a compound having a carbonyl group.SOLUTION: This method for producing a fluorine-containing compound includes (i) a process of obtaining a mixture containing a compound expressed by formula (a) by the oxidation reaction of a compound expressed by formula (z), (ii) a process of esterifying an acid fluoride compound contained in the mixture and expressed by formula (b) below by reacting a compound (m) having a hydroxy group with the mixture to convert it to a carboxylic acid ester, and (iii) a process of separating the carboxylic acid ester from the mixture containing the compound expressed by formula (a) and the carboxylic acid ester and removing it.
