DIE CASTING MACHINE AND DIE CASTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die casting machine and a die casting method capable of preventing generation of any burrs or blow-out of molten metal by reducing generation of the surge pressure, and minimizing the dispersion of the casting quality at site.SOLUTION: The die casting machine includes a die (101) for casting a product, an injection cylinder (102) for injecting molten metal (15) into the die, and a hydraulic device (303) for pressing the injection cylinder with high pressure. The hydraulic device (303) includes a piston accumulator (20) for injection which supplies working fluid to the injection cylinder, a high-speed regulating valve (31) for opening/closing the flow of working fluid from the piston accumulator (20) for injection, and a plurality of gas bottles (71, 72, 73) installed in a gas chamber (217) of the piston accumulator (20) for injection parallel to each other so as to realize the fluid connection via on-off valves (75, 76, 77).
